PALAK MAKAI PULAO


ELEMENTS:
1 cup basmati rice, cooked
½ cup lightened spinach pound
½ cup sweet corn, steamed
FOR THE TEMPERING:
1 tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp asafetida
1 onion, cut up
1 tbsp garlic, cut up
1 green chilli, thinly slice
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to tang
A bit of amchur powder
1 tbsp oil
PROCESS:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. at what time they fizz, add asafetida and chop up onions and fry until it is translucent powder and fry for one or two minutes.
2. Add the spinach puree and bring to a simmer. Then add salt, amchur, rice and sweet corn, mix well and serve up warm with kadhai.
